This scrap metal sculpture is a representation of the Greek crisis. The people hanging from Pinocchio’s nose are hanging from the lies of the political and social system. A Sculpture designed and created by Greek artist Giannis Dendrinos. The metallic parts have been welded and grinded. The artist has painted the scrap metal sculpture by using transparent varnish.
Giannis Dendrinos has created over 300 metal sculptures using scrap metallic parts. He lives in the city of Athens, Greece. The themes he uses in his artworks are representing the relation between man and technology. A fan of kinetic art, Giannis Dendrinos has exhibited in several art spaces in Greece and all over the world.
