Anna Moraitou was born in Athens and graduated from the School of Architecture, NTUA. She worKs with materials, which are commonly used in architecture, to create objects of daily use, in order to improve the aesthetics and quality of personal or public spaces. Strongly influenced by her studies and the “Modern” movement, she designs under the precept that form follows function. Wooden and other rigid surfaces create new forms and shapes. The patterns are not printed on fabrics but created by the texture and the very materiality of these surfaces.
She has been awarded in several design and architectural competitions.
